What is iCDBILL?

iCDBILL is a free, simple, and secure on-line billing script. iCDBILL allows administrators to create an invoice for a client. Once the invoice is generated the invoice can be sent to the client, or viewed by the client in his or her control panel. iCDBILL is written in PHP and operates using a MySQL database.

The script was developed and written by Matthew Kinderwater of iCube Development to allow service technicians to generate an invoice on-site. The system has many benifets over other 'simple' online billing scripts. Prior to writing this script, I spent a lot of money and time getting PHP developers to 'write' a billing system that would work for my business. Although they did the job, the script was never 100% what I wanted. So, I rewrote the script myself, I included what I wanted and made sure the code was eligant enough for me to fix bugs, enhance, or to be frank - make sense of.

A common question is "what does the "iCD" stand for. The answer is simple - iCube Development. It's a company that develops PHP scripts, offers on-site computer repair and consulting services - hence the birth of iCDBILL.

What are the requirements?

iCDBILL runs on just about anything. You have to have a server with PHP 4+ and MySQL 3+ to use the script. Due to the simplicity of the script nothing else is required. iCDBILL is not optimized for any specific version of PHP or MySQL therefore it is most likely to install on your system without difficulty.
